AWPR specialises in National and Regional Radio Promotions providing unique and bespoke campaigns for Major and Independent labels and artist/bands across the UK. AWPR also pride themselves on breaking new acts and providing invaluable artist development.

The company was set up by Alex Whitcombe, after successfully setting up and running Steel Fish Records followed by ten years within Radio Promotions at Mercury Records (Universal Music).

Alex, in a recent interview commented, "having been lucky enough to work in an amazing industry, do a job I love doing and gain all this experience, I wanted to set up a Radio Promotions company that could cater for everyone, still working the big artists on the Major and bigger Independent labels, but also to cater to the new and up-coming artists and bands within the UK and around the world. There is so much musical talent out there, especially within the UK, that I genuinely wanted to set up a company to work and help all artists and bands get the best possible advise and ultimately get their music on the radio”.
